Man the CPU is crazy in between beggining to mid game... Your building up an army up until like 40 of them small daemon attack and blow everything up.

I downloaded this but was never able to play it. It would always crash in the middle of the game. For no apparent reason. I'm willing to try again on my other comp. Anyone else have this problem?

i got the game and i downloadet also a map editor for glestthe only problem is i dont know how to play mi mapscould someone help me with that problem if someone has the map editor of course

The only thing that you have to do is put your new map in the maps folder (C:\program files\Glest_2.0.1\maps)

You NOOBS its a free custumizable game you can't compare it to starcfraft2 that cost millions to make, besides it was released in 25 and star isn't even out yet.(2008) 3 years difference

tech probablywhy i say that?1. when i battle a tech cpu ultra (im magic)it won but to prove i aint a noob at the game i used tech and i won. tech vs tech i still win2. when it was a 2 vs 2 tech and magic, tech won3. i played a free for all match where i intended to do nothing and watch all the otherteams kill each other (tech vs magic vs magic)the tech won

i prefer magic at the moment, you can use summons bring out lots of dragons quickly and do rituals to bring out beasts that have lots of healthy and stay alive for a long timeor summon lots of daemons to keep your enemy occupied while you make up a real battle planplus you have the mighty battlemage which special is awesome at taking down buildings quickly however it takes lots of time to recoveron top of all of this units restore there health, so in between battles your people heal.

And starcraft you have to pay for it..Now glest with a mp support becames my fav game in my pc!

Can anyone help me plz i have downloaded glest and started playing it after 5mins my screen goes white and a box appears saying failure to lock directsound buffer. i don't know if this is a problem with the game or the version i downloaded i'm using version 3.0if any 1 can help me that would be great

Nice.Fully 3D, like Age of Mythology and Age of Empires 3, not 2,5D, like AGe of Empires 1 and 2. I've also seen a few screenshots, graphics aren't too bad, but the map could be better.

It is opensource, I'm not sure about the specific license though.That information isn't clear in their webpage. A board message says "You can do anything as long as you give us the credit".I think that is closer to Apache or BSD than to GPL.

I've looked it up: Ta_spring is the name, and the game engine is gpl. It's supposed to run mods and 3rd party addons that was made for a proprietary game.

Its an awsome game..after i found it i stoped playing all other rts..in terms of multiplayer experiance that is..since there isnt a campaign or single player missions but they are in developmet.the multiplayer part is solid not less than any commercial rts and the game balance of some of the mods is near perfect sao for competetiv play this game is awsome in relation to other commercial rts that dont bother with good balance usually.
